webFCE Training

Assigned learners: Alex (Alexis Ferrer, DPT) and Dr. Christian Busby only, per Eric Washkuhn.

Source: webFCE Procedure Manual.pdf — 109 PDF pages, supplied by Eric. Separate from the general employee curriculum and Physical Capacity Profile training.

Reading pathway: introduction; pain/outcome questionnaires; sitting/standing/walking; material handling; balance; functional activities; gross/fine hand dexterity; sensory testing; full-time work tolerance; cardiorespiratory testing; consistency of effort; final comments; FCE types; Dictionary of Occupational Titles; forms/glossary/reference tables.

Learning evidence: explain the referral question and job demands; identify relevant manual procedures; document a supervised or approved case walkthrough, safety/escalation considerations, measurement and reporting limitations; complete reviewer sign-off. Reading completion alone is not clinical competency.

The manual is source material, not a substitute for current clinical judgment or local procedure validation. In this manual DOT refers to Dictionary of Occupational Titles, not a commercial-driver DOT physical. Confirm the manual version and applicable current procedures before operational use.

Draft training setup; no completion or qualification has been recorded.
