Chatillon DFX-200 — Force Gauge Operator Training

Chatillon DFX-200 — Force Gauge Operator Training

For Alex, Tyler and Luis. Eric confirmed the clinic uses DFX-200. Six lessons, six knowledge checks and supervised operator sign-off cover readiness, units/modes, zero/tare, fixtures, pull/push testing, overload prevention and documentation. Suggested study time: 45–60 minutes plus practice.

Source: supplied English DFX manual, NC002957-E, August 2007, 23 pages. Match the actual device ID, fixtures and verified ratings before use. DFX II and DFX3 instructions are not interchangeable. Current manufacturer manual directory checked September 8, 2026: https://www.ametektest.com/service-and-support/documentation-and-manuals/manual-download

Resolve source discrepancies with manufacturer/service support: page 10 non-equivalent torque values; page 23 tare specification versus pages 3–4; inconsistent hook ratings. Do not use conflicting values for setup or exceed verified component ratings.

The manual teaches equipment operation, not a complete clinical protocol. Clinical positioning, repetitions, effort instructions, stopping criteria and interpretation require the approved service protocol. Calibration/service procedures are awareness only. Draft pending equipment/protocol validation and learner-access testing.
